ABK's Guide to SF

Aaron K: Get the carne asada super burrito. It will be the best one you've ever had.

Aaron K: Salted caramel and malted vanilla are the best. If you're hungry, skip the like and get a pint to go (you can skip to the front of the line) or head to the market across the street.

Aaron K: Best pizza in SF. The margherita is delicious. The fresh stretched mozzarella is also quite tasty.

Aaron K: Everything is good here. For breakfast I like the almond croissants, chocolate croissants and morning buns. All the croques and sandwiches are also delicious.

Aaron K: Try the secret breakfast and pretty much any of their other interested flavor combinations.

Aaron K: My favorites are the menage-a-trois and the king koopa. Get them on dutch crunch with all the toppings. Get ready for a food coma.

Aaron K: Great place to order lots of small plates and share with everyone. Get the margherita with fresh burrata cheese.

Aaron K: Get some sangria and the roasted chicken.

Aaron K: Hard to get a reservation but they take walk-ins and your best bet is right when they open at 5.

Aaron K: Same owners as beretta, all around good food.

Aaron K: My favorite is the chicken pho.

Aaron K: Great selection of beers and good burgers.

Aaron K: What happens when you mix cheese and hipsters? Mission cheese.

Aaron K: Everything on the menu is good at this Michelin starred restaurant in the Mission.

Aaron K: I always get the salt cod fried rice but you really can't go wrong. If there is a long wait, get take-out.

Aaron K: Good for brunch or dinner--the crab frittata is amazing. I hear the bacon is to die for.

Aaron K: Good music.

Aaron K: The strongest, biggest and cheapest margarita you've ever had.

Aaron K: Great on a sunny afternoon. The bloody mary is dirty in a good way. Decent burgers as well.

Aaron K: I think this has to be the nicest baseball stadium in baseball. Definitely has the best views.

Aaron K: Great shops and always fun to come to the farmers market on Saturdays.

Aaron K: My favorite burger in the city. I recommend ordering two since you'll be dreaming of another one after you finish the first.

Aaron K: Get an affogato or pick your beverage of choice.

Aaron K: I like the herb slab. Then go next door and get some Cowgirl Creamery cheese.

Aaron K: Pick up some cheese and then some bread at Acme next door.

Eater: Charles Phan broke the mold for modern Vietnamese food when he opened the original, and the current incarnation remains the standard-bearer of ingredient-driven Asian cuisine. [Eater 38 Member] Leia mais.

Travel Channel: Union Square is a haven for shoppers: look in any direction and you will see upscale department stores. Nearby, visitors can hop onto a cable car on Powell Street.

Aaron K: Get your tickets in advance and try for a night cruise if you can.

Aaron K: One of the most picturesque wineries in Napa.

Aaron K: I don't need to tell you this, but probably the best restaurant in the country.

Aaron K: Always dependable and always delicious. I love the french onion soup here.

Aaron K: Good luck walking out of here with less than a bag full of food.

Aaron K: Thomas Keller's third restaurant in Yountville.

Aaron K: Michael Chiarello does great Italian cooking here.

Aaron K: Get the onion rings to share and nibble on along with the rest of your meal.

Aaron K: Great for some outdoors wandering in SF.

Aaron K: Usually has good exhibits and the tower has great views of SF on a clear day.

Aaron K: Very cool, modern building. Fun to go on Thursday nights to their "Nighlife"--wander around the museum while sipping on cocktails. Buy tickets in advance.

Aaron K: Always good exhibits and a nice permanent collection.

Aaron K: Little Italy of SF.

Aaron K: Great space and good for brunch or dinner. The burger here is quite good.

Aaron K: Call ahead and have them put your name down on the list so you don't have to wait when you arrive!

Aaron K: One word, cioppino.

Aaron K: I think this is the best sushi in SF and very reasonably priced.

Aaron K: Get the tea leaf salad. Get there early or prepare to wait.

Aaron K: Avoid going here on the weekend or at prime lunch time to avoid the crowds of tourists. Best seafood in the city. They also hand slice their smoked salmon which makes it extra delicious.

Aaron K: Same owners as Boulevard. Modern space and delicious food.

Aaron K: They've jacked up the prices for their tasting and wine pairings as they've gained notoriety but this place is quite special.

Aaron K: Amazing cocktails and good food for brunch or dinner. Beautiful modern space.

Aaron K: Get the roasted chicken!

Leah Kessler: Awesome food! The pizzas are stellar as are the small plates, house cured meats and desserts. Great wine and beer selection as well!
