Alameda is lowkey the best restaurant in Greenpoint. I was genuinely shocked at how good the Arctic char was. This place just does everything well. A near-perfect spot.
Agnanti Meze is a delicious Greek restaurant next to Astoria Park. It is on par with Taverna Kyclades with a much shorter wait. The Grilled Octopus, Greek Salad, & the olive oil uses were excellent.
This is the place most people in NYC think about when they think of Greek food. The olive oil and lemon drenched octopus manages to be more tender than a medium rare filet mignon. Leia mais.

We went back to Grandaisy Bakery and loved the pecorino pizza blanca -- not quite bread, not quite pizza, but totally delicious!
The wine list is superior and the view is unparalleled, a must-see. Entrees were all stellar and the staff is more than conscientious, downright charming.
