- Mikala SMarço 28, 2013For international flights, it's safest to lie about your departure time to ensure you make it through customs with time to spare.
- They now have great, gluten-free food options at the Kensington Food Court! :)
- S POutubro 21, 2016Long (but easy) walk to international flights... Leave yourself enough connecting time.
- They have new scanners at passport control for Canadian residents. Scan your passport and your declaration card then you are on your way.
- Alex TrumanSetembro 7, 2014Be ready at US customs. If you are prepared, you get through pretty quick. ID and boarding pass ready, receipts handy in case.
- U.S. Customs is the bane of my existence. If you're flying to the U.S., factor in at least a good 15 minutes.
- If you are going to the U.S. and don't have GOES/Nexus, plan on arriving at least 2 hours early. The US Customs preclearance takes at least an hour of queuing to go through.
- Many shops quote tax free prices and then add tax on at the till without telling you
- Chris RichmondOutubro 20, 2013Cheap food at Thai Express Term1 D area. Side white rice 1.50, free ice water
- r DaveMaio 1, 2011Never, ever connect internationally through Pearson. Double immigration and customs for the US-bound; plan to add two plus hours. (The inter-terminal baggage protocol alone boggles the mind.)
- Easy to navigate. Gates to USA could have better options and restrooms small.
- Jody WasbroMarço 31, 2013Be sure to allow plenty of time between connections. Supposedly US budget cuts mean fewer resources and way longer lines
- Cindy MurrayJunho 23, 2015Urban Crave not bad eats and beer!! 4 1/2 hour delay in flight from here to NY....I have a black cloud over my head lately when it comes to flights!! Can't blame AC for this one...I'm flying WestJet
- Great food cafes and amazing drinks at your finger tips!
- The new offsite covered parking (I think it is called Viscount) is excellent, with a train that takes you to the terminal.
- eric bornemannMaio 18, 2021It the easiest to get from international arrival to domestic - allow for more time.
- Worth hiring a porter. They are usually more helpful than the counter staff.
- Watch out for the terror of Toronto. Short guy patrolling customs. If he catches u w ur fone he takes u out of line and makes u start over.
- Alyssandra DochertyNovembro 16, 2022The walk from the plane to customs is like 7 miles, but it's a nice airport!
- Daniel HoOutubro 13, 2013Even when if is mildly busy, a Nexus/Global Entry can save you a lot of time!
- Amy SullivanJunho 23, 2017Canada customs is super welcoming to all. TSA and outgoing customs were SUPER disorganized and frustrating.
- In life. There is only 2question not 2nd working! What it is!!?The first is the "Yes " and second the same but the opposite "NO " yes....life that's simple only a yes/no...LHK LLX
- Justin OrdovezaJunho 7, 2023In terminal 7 there is a seating area to rest before you go through security
- Valu park is the way to go! Just a quick train from there gets you to any of the terminals.
- WymanJaneiro 28, 2013Hardly any outlets in the restaurants and bars - Beaches is brutal! They roll their eyes when you ask ... lol...
- Fish FishNovembro 11, 2017Like they only just opened and are still ironing out a lot of kinks. A lot!
- Chris TaylorFevereiro 5, 2010Mobile check in is awesome on the iPhone (aircanada) but be aware that your gate # doesn't show up on your eticket. You need to consult the display boards to see where you're leaving from!
- William LeeOutubro 23, 2016If you're flying to the US and have Global Entry, you must have your Global Entry card to use the Nexus/GE security line. The security kiosks don't support passport and fingerprint scanning.
- A ToorMaio 6, 2012They need more staff at the US security check...... the queue goes for miles and takes forever.... Make sure you allow for plenty of time prior to the flight!
- Find a Maple Leaf Loung member. Perfect place to chill, get buzzed and relax before a flight. ^^
- John KlimekFevereiro 26, 2019When I’m in from Chicago, I like to get some authentic Toronto pizza here
- Windows CanadaDezembro 12, 2011Escape the travelling grind, and join the Windows Picture Perfect Holiday at Toronto Pearson Airport (Gate 141 in Terminal 1 or Gate C27 in Terminal 3) for a FREE holiday photo.
- IanOutubro 12, 2014If you're traveling to/from the US, get a Nexus card and skip the customs line. So much easier.
- If you travel to the US a lot, get your Nexus/Global Entry. Will save you loads of time at customs.
- Be aware of the relocated rental car return entrance; the new exit sneaks up on you quickly.
- Being such a busy airport if you can get to your gate early its a good day. Smile, enjoy your flight if you're leaving, and have a great flight!
- There're many food options here - but virtually all are after security. If you want to grab a bite with people not travelling with you, you're better off eating before reaching the airport
- Welcome to Toronto, take the rocket to Kipling and the subway the rest of the way. Cab is about $55-60
