- Megan AllisonMaio 19, 2017Lovely, modern airport with easy breezy US CBP pre-clearance and great shops
- Marc SJunho 30, 2016To get into the city (downtown) there is a train. Only 3 stops to Union Station. After arrival, take elevator up to parking level, cross over, go up one more level. Ticket machines are there.
- Fancy new upgrades to USA customs... No need for those paper forms! But now you get your picture taken... ;)
- If flying nationally check to see if the lower level security check point is open, much less of a line up than the main checkpoint...got through in 5 minutes
- Lasan AttanayakeDezembro 29, 2015Gum is 2dollers if you need it the Excel brand. Free WiFi and easy to get around
- Thought was a great airport until today. Sent to Aisle 15 to wait a long time to even be let into customs. Don't arrive too early for your flight to US or you will wait a long time. Eat before arrival
- Daniel PaniaguaMaio 25, 2019Hermoso y funcional.
- Reetesh Y.V.Novembro 9, 2018If travelling to US, the immigration happens at this airport instead of the airport of entry at US. Convenient for busy days at US airports.
- simhskalOutubro 14, 2018Good luck with long US pre clearance lines. If you don't ask, Canada Nexus passengers (without Global entry) and international visa holders are stuck forever. Food, UP Express & securit- a breeze!
- If taking public transit (TTC), pay for your fare just inside the terminal from the bus stop. The red TTC machines are much better than having to deal with a TTC driver (who are often rude)
- Clearing customs has gotten much easier with the new automated systems. However, you seemingly have to show your boarding pass every 20 feet. Keep it handy!
- Disorganized ! Come with time. I have dealt with small airports but this is ridiculous for a airport this size.
- Moe DexlerJaneiro 12, 2017Great place for food and fellowship with a wide array of people going places.
- To go Toronto downtown, use the UP Express train which goes directly to Union Station. Buy and recharge the Presto Card instead of being online, you’ll pay $9,35 instead of $12.
- New food outlets in T3. Upscale look at Nobel burger bar. More nutritional options for food in the go.
- Joe KapraszewskiSetembro 26, 2014Giant airport... They probably have a food for everyone. Free Wi-Fi. Clean, much natural light.
- Food on the international side is super expensive. The cheapest option is Tim Hortons where you can get a sandwich/bagel/muffin for a decent price.
- Wilson Favre-DelerueAgosto 15, 2017Notably long queues and tedious security and immigration procedures. The US wing is particularly egregious.
- Naydia CJulho 8, 2014Maple Lounge is quite nice, a great break from the hustle bustle of connecting flights, etc.
- Paul T.Maio 7, 2017The airport feels dated and the international travelers customs area is confusing. Inside the terminal there aren't many great food choices.
- Double check the size of your carry on luggage. I just had to pay $100 to check in a second bag since it happened to be 2cm wider than they allow on board. But at least free wi-fi to vent about it ;)
- Alex TrumanJaneiro 6, 2014Terminal 1 is still one of the longest walks from gate to customs/baggage claim of any airport I have been to. If you have mobility issues, might want to consider a wheelchair.
- Anvar IslamovJaneiro 25, 2015"If you see something, say something".Not at Pearson terminal 1.Here nobody cares about unrecognized items. Were trying to bring staff attention to left jacket, half an hour later it is still there..
- Scott SullivanAbril 16, 2016When flying BA/AA from LHR to the US, pick up your luggage then head upstairs to the AA counters near the US passport entrance. Don't follow the connections signs. Wish someone told me.
- There's a new 'staging' area that you have to wait in before you can go through customs. Suggest not arriving too early for your flight.
- Leah SinsheimerJaneiro 12, 2015Make sure to take provisions on your hike out to gates F89-94. And there's no accessible escalator to get down there.
- At Q4, Walk in airport, look for ladies washroom and 3 doors to the right there's an unmarked, recessed door. Home cooked meals as well as fries and smaller things, cheap prices!
- NanaMaio 30, 2016If you're connecting domestically and traveling to the US and have 2 hours to kill you are wrong. Going through the gates, security checks and immigration will kill it. Head over to your gate now!🏃🏽
- Daniel LamoureuxAgosto 31, 2011On the lower level Gates 101to112, there is ONE outlet on the phone station using the public TTY. Yes you CAN plug in and sit on the window ledge to relax and recharge ;-)
- If you’re lucky enough to be in Terminal F, then head over to Wahlburgers.
- John SowashAbril 6, 2014Freshii at the very end of terminal A is excellent. Fresh food; natural ingredients.
- Jessa EAbril 15, 2017If you wanna walk faster, always take the moving walkway (weird looking walkalator), it's actually faster.
- Meghna LamoreDezembro 26, 2011If you're flying out of the 170s - 180s, Terminal 1, bypass crowded eateries, walk 180/181: Caffe Ritazza's quiet, decently priced, even has wine/beer.
- Get as much done at the Kiosk including baggage tags. Make sure when booking your passport name is exact on all documents. Save u lots of time.
- The self serve customs booths are a great idea. Love the idea and it's simple to use.

- Only to be used if traveling abroad. This airport is always packed, he lineups can be hours long, and finding your way around can be a nightmare. A nessicary evil when traveling to/from TO.
- DoubleTree by Hilton ManagerSetembro 22, 2011Long flight? Peanuts are okay, but bringing a filling, healthy snack like almonds or fruit will keep you tied over until your destination. For more travel tips and fun, follow @DoubleTree on Twitter!
- Massive huge airport. Customs, immigration officers were great. WiFi was quick to connect.
- If your flight is canceled due to weather, don't bother using ACs N desk to get your free accommodation. Last night the line was at least 6 hours long. Cool #AirCanada strategy to avoid paying !
- If you have a super long layover , take the UP Express train into downtown Toronto and explore the city! It's only a 25 minutes ride from the airport! 🎉
- Not a ton of selections for food. I like the paninis and chef salad right after customs and duty free is the same inside + out but cute cheap T-shirts in newspaper/magazine store :)
