- Steph HJaneiro 3, 2019New terminal is 👍. App-based car pickup (Lyft, Uber) is a long walk if you have a lot of luggage.
- If you go to Au Bon Pain and want the yogurt, get the smaller 8 oz size even though you can get the 16 oz for like a dollar more. You don't need that much yogurt.
- Terminal B is brand new - definitely save room for Shake Shack
- Mary DeMarJunho 20, 2013If you're going downtown, take the M60 bus and train to save $50 on a taxi! Takes the same amount of time.
- Meredith AAgosto 21, 2011Good chance your flight will board close to on time...don't get too excited, be prepared to sit on the tarmac for awhile. This is one airport you definitely DON'T want to be one of the 1st to board.
- Apparently, TSA does strictly enforce that you go to through the security lines for your particular gate. So forget about meeting a friend who has a layover on a different airlines.
- If you're flying in from the Midwest, the best Manhattan views are on the left side of the plane.
- Amanda ThauJunho 6, 2016Surprisingly nice airport. Lots of iPads and individual seating in the Delta terminal.
- Best airport for hipsters - you simply can't beat a $25, 15-minute cab ride from Williamsburg.
- The new terminal is just a delight. There are more food options at the gates after the food court.
- Get Southern Burger and Buffalo bites at La Freida Beef, so goooood.
- Get free wifi by sitting on the floor near the Sky Club and connecting to "tmobile" and selecting guest on splash screen!
- Diane Lucille SuarezFevereiro 23, 2016Make sure you know what terminal ahead of time or you'll wind up doing circles or back in the highway
- When flying in, sit on the left. Stunning views of the Manhattan skyline and Citi Field.
- This airport gets a bad rap but is the easiest to get in and out. There are super limited food and drink choices in American Airlines terminal.
- If you're flying Spirit Airlines stop and reexamine all of your life choices that led to this horrific decision...
- The new remodel is beautiful, but who thought it was a good idea to put carpet everywhere?
- Route B and Route A run the same loop, except Route A runs out to the Marine Air Terminal, where all Delta flights to/from BOS, DCA, and ORD originate.
- Try to avoid this airport, if you are here I would recommend drinking since you'll probably be delayed.
- LGA has two sets of D gates. Some are for Delta and some are for AA. Don't assume the 'D' in front of your gate number means terminal 'D'.
- Love Crust by Delta domestic C15, great omelets and frittatas.
- NYC airports have their TSA shit together more so than smaller regional airports (Portland, ME I'm looking at you) - security moves relatively fast here for # of people. Airlines are diff matter.
- LaGuardia Airport (LGA)Fevereiro 12, 2015Help us get to to 3K followers on Twitter and #WIN! Retweet #LGALove and follow @shoplaguardia to win a #free box of chocolates and a #NYC charm necklace!
- Pickups for Uber, Lyft, etc can be difficult as crosswalk markings aren't at all clear. Call your driver as they get near.
- Carol Ann SchwartzOutubro 16, 2013The Delta food terminal is GREAT good choices good music tons of plus at gate tables too!
- There’s free WiFi. Refill your bottles at the water fountains/water stations.
- may be against the rules, but last winter after the huge snowstorm, the bus line was 200 deep and the taxi line was 2hrs long-went to departures/snagged a cab from a drop-off in 2 minutes. #cheaters
- Jason AllenAbril 10, 2011The delta shuttle terminal is like stepping back in time. Art deco accents and a massive mural make you feel like the interior hasn't been touched since the 1950's
- If someone is picking you up, I recommend they come get you at the departures/passenger drop off rather than arrivals. Traffic is a nightmare and if you have to go around again, it'll take forever.
- Think of it like a NY subway or bus station but for airplanes. Sparse food and beverage accommodations. If you're in and out, it's not a bad airport.
- Have your shoes shined while sitting in a weird egg
- 13 minutes from midtown East on a good day. Small and cramped but decent food in the Delta terminals C & D.
- To paraphrase a friends words: If you've ever wondered what it's like to fly out of a bus station, well now you know
- Good food option in Terminal D: Crust. Pizza, grilled sandwiches and decent wine selection.
- KaitlynAgosto 21, 2013Eat before you come or bring food with you. Pretty small and crappy inside to say it's NYC, usually cheaper than JFK though. Being empty drink container & fill up after security check
- Never agreed with Joe Biden on anything more than his sentiment of this “airport.”
- TIPTOP TIP; Food Court food is better with more variety. If you are passed security and can stow your luggage, get a 'pink card' as you leave security, get your food and walk by the 30' long line!
- Delta terminal since the renovation is very nice. Touch screen food and drink from the gate
- George Clooney's movie Up In The Air was based on airports like this one, if that's not a fun fact idk what is!!!!!!!
- finally- FREE WIFI!!!!!!! the best city in the world (sarcasm) just getting with the program....
- Delta has free wifi on there iPads in terminal D. Awesome! Order a take-off drink via iPad at Bijoux?
- If you get TWC internet you can login to the boingo wifi for free (at least in C)
- United, Term B, Concourse C: almost 0 food options (pretzels, bakery). No sit down. No bar. Horrendous. Get with the program, LAG. In the meantime, eat outside.
- Do yourself a solid and check out Artichoke Pizza at Terminal C before your flight. Bring napkins.
- Sophie YoungAgosto 23, 2011Take the NYC Airporter to Grand Central. Shuttles are extremely comfortable with lots of leg room. It costs $12.50 one way.
