Quick easy gateway. I specially like the Delta Marine Terminal. So retro I feel transported to the 60's!

If you're not taking a car service, take Q70 bus to Roosevelt, which connects to several trains that take you into the city! Fast-ish & save your $$ for fun in the city!

Centurion lounge outside security in Terminal B is my favorite thing.- The pizza place in the delta terminal that replaced sbarros is awesome. Probably one of the top 5 in all of new York and long island. Funny it's in an airport.
The Hellen Keller school for the blind would do a better job at security screening compared to the TSA! Leave 40min just for security line on Tuesdays for flights departing before 9a from Term D

DanJaneiro 21, 2015Taxi's are always waiting if you go all the way to the end of baggage claim and just after you turn the corner. Facing the doors turn right and walk all the way to the end.
First time flying for business in a while. I hear the new LGA is incredible. Looking forward to seeing what they have done to the place.
The taxi queue at Terminal B is ridiculously long. Order a Lyft or Uber as soon as you step off the plane.

Omar LoggiaAgosto 16, 2016There's a MetroCard vending machine right where you catch the M-60 bus (Manhattan-LaGuardia bus). From baggage claim level, follow signs to "buses to Manhattan." also buy at the convenience stores
Current construction makes parking and entering the airport a challenge. Allow yourself a bit more time.

The M60 bus picks up and drops off here. Cheapest way to get into or out of the city ($2.75 - one swipe on the metro card!) Allocate at least an hour to get to or from the airport.
in at least the D gates in terminal B, there aren't a lot of dining options past the tsa screening area, so if you're hungry, i would suggest eating prior to going through security
The new terminal is amazing. Clean, beautiful, bags come quickly, easy to get a ride share.

LaGuardia is the smallest of the 3 major airports in NYC but the closest to Manhattan. The Delta terminal has lots of iPads on their waiting lounge. Pretty cool.
Due to recent construction, add in an extra 35 mins to your "internal commute" as the signs are not clear on how to reach to your desired terminal. This tip is valid until their completion in 2020.
Older airport but super easy to get in and out of. People complain about it but there are so many coming and going and they do a good job!

Drew MorganAbril 14, 2013It's a nice place to eat breakfast on the weekend. I live five minutes away, so it's a favorite Friday and Saturday breakfast watering hole.
Grab a seat at your terminal and use the free iPads to surf, plus order food, water, whatever and they will bring it right to you with no surcharge! No free wi-fi for your stuff though.
Gregg PullanoJunho 15, 2015The Delta terminals are a little cramped, but there's lots of good amenities to be had. Enjoy the traffic jam of planes on departure from this baby airfield.
Don't always enter the priority line. Sometimes the security line is longer for priority, go in the general line - it may be faster. You can see the line so it's not that you are betting blind.

Felipe GarciaMarço 19, 2019If there’s any construction work happening, you better get in early. Signs may be misleading and you probably will need to walk more than usual to get to places.
Highly suggest stopping for a shoe shine if you have time... Shine chairs operated by the same family for 60yrs. Great personalized service!
Terminal B, where American Airlines is docked is a very small section. The choices of food is very limited to food kiosks with the exception of Samuel Adams, a very small eatery
It’s bad right now. I only ever really go out of Terminal B & the drive up to dropoff is horrid, the food options are limited and seemingly everyone is TSA precheck because theres only 1 security line
Be sure to get a shoe shine from John outside the Admirals Club. Not only a great shine but a great guy and he'll do a free brush next time you swing by.

Probably the best of New York/New Jerseys three big airports, but still terrible. Bring your own fan, AC never works. Bring you own food. Non-existent dining options in C terminal
Aside from the new Delta terminal, this is the most depressing, dingiest looking airport in the country. It'll take years for a makeover.

For those like me who don't like traditional breakfast items, the Chinese restaurant in the food court area serves rice, veggies & spicy chicken @ 7 am. Lovely!
