When going home there is almost never a reason to take Midtown Tunnel in a cab...Always avoid it. You end up tipping on the total which includes the needless toll.
The view of NYC from your plane is going to be amazing !

Becky DDezembro 17, 2011If flying delta to chicago or DC do not get dropped of at the Delta terminal, you will have to take a delta bus or jump in a cab to get to the Delta shuttle. At the Marine air terminal.
Convenient and friendly. Security is quick. Curbside check-in is totally worth it!
Terminal A for convenience, Terminal D for food, and Terminal B never.
Best places to grub: 5 Guys at D terminal, Crust in Delta Terminal

Anyone traveling Delta to Chicago O'Hare (ORD), make sure to be dropped off at the Marine Air Terminal otherwise end up taking a shuttle for 1.5 miles to the correct terminal.

American Airlines terminal is a horror. Paying for pass to the Admirals Club is worth it.
If you need a taxi when arriving at Terminal D, you’ll need to take a taxi shuttle bus to where the taxis are waiting. Due to construction, taxis are picking up outside of the airport.
Wow under 30 minutes from my midtown east apartment to the gate. Best ever today!

If you checked a bag, actually retain that claim sticker for once. They are verifying them at the exit from baggage claim.
You can get an Uber very easily here, just choose you pick up point wisely.

Taking Delta? Go to terminal C and find two security gates. The one to the right is always shorter.

Mac OmeneMarço 1, 2014Be careful about delta airline. If you can don't check in your luggage. Had mine and half the planes' luggage delayed and it really caused problems for me. + people say it happens often.
Don't expect your flight to leave on time and bring a backup phone battery because plugs are nearly nonexistent.
Construction all around but they are making progress.
This place is no different than the NY Port Authority. The only difference is that there's actually ppl telling you where to go because of TSA minimum standards.
French press coffee in D terminal post security is a nice perk.
Jared PFevereiro 24, 2013You've always wanted to visit NYC, so come to the worst airport in the nation where the pilot has to drastically correct the plane about 50 feet off of the ground and make it feel like you'll splash.- Efficient and dated but good things are coming. LGA is Travel Yaps’ home airport!
