- Andres NovoaAbril 9, 2016The brussel sprout chips! The deviled eggs! The salted cod fritters! The wine! The cocktails (Fallen Petals was amazing)! And a great bartender to boot! If you're at the bar, ask for Brian!
- Sam BrownDezembro 30, 2015Really good bar snacks in here, the Brussels sprout chips are incredible. Also, order the deviled eggs, then order a second round of them when you realise how great they are!
- Winson WongMarço 6, 2016Delicious brunch! Great service and love the old school atmosphere. Deviled eggs was just right and match it with a boozy brunch smoothie makes it a perfect Sunday brunch.
- Brunch and service were top notch (Chorizo and eggs and French toast)! They used to have the perfect Mexican michelada (i.e. no tom juice but spicy lemonade) but no longer make it!! Why PT!? Why?!?
- Mandy ✨💫Abril 15, 2016The Tavern salad, chicory & citrus salad, burger, truffle fries, and Brussels sprouts chips are all a must! Cocktails are delicious as well. You really can't go wrong.
- GrantAgosto 9, 2015The other reviews about the smoked deviled eggs were no joke. They're amazing! The duck leg for an entree was also a thing of beauty. You won't be disappointed with this place!
- Cassandra LeveyAgosto 27, 2017When I tell you that I have dreams about this avocado toast I mean, I crave it constantly!!! Their bloody Mary's are amazing. Jeff the bartender is awesome!
- Travel + LeisureNovembro 30, 2012The scene everyone wants to be a part of. Try the schnitzel with bacon-fat eggs and marinated anchovies, and a hangover-helper cocktail of Fernet Branca, ginger beer and lemon.
- Vivian RamirezJaneiro 21, 2020Probably one of the top 5 brunch experiences of my life. Classic yet creative takes on the brunch favorites. Perfect coffee and eye openers.
- BommySetembro 5, 2014Deviled egg is a flavor explosion and so ridiculously good. Braised lamb tongue is interesting and worth a try. Marlowe burger is way too salty... so end the meal with seasonal birthday cake.
- tablehopperAgosto 3, 2014A star on the menu is the ruby red grapefruit brûlée, with a swipe of crème fraîche and a chiffonade of mint ($6)—it actually makes me want to eat grapefruit for breakfast. Leia mais
- Benjy WeinbergerMarço 5, 2013Everything we ordered was excellent, but the deviled eggs are a must. Also great: the Brussels sprouts chips, the burrata, the carpaccio and the halibut.
- Ben CoffeeAgosto 18, 2014My fiancé had the Bar Steak and I had the Rib Eye Steak, both were exquisite. Great selection of wine and starters. Wonderful service and relaxed ambiance.
- Simply one of the best restaurants in San Francisco. I've yet to have anythibg less than a great experience here. Consistently delivers a superb dining experience night after night. Highly recommended
- Amelia ManiMaio 4, 2016Everything is so good. It definitely is a splurge, but they do it well and the space is lively. Great place to take visitors and then walk around North Beach afterwards.
- Essa SharafMarço 13, 2014The fried sprouts, beef jerky, fries with truffle and caviar, the chicken for the main. All are a must. Believe me you won't regret it
- Jennifer KrinkeMarço 19, 2017Deviled eggs, burger, shrimp and Grits (and I'm from New Orleans so I know good S&G!). Great energy in cafe.
- JaredOutubro 27, 2014Food was amazing! Almost magical. If you have a post meal coffee, get Portland's stumptown coffee. You won't be disappointed.
- Mikael WagnerMaio 20, 2013This place was incredibly delicious. Great fun celebrating a friend's birthday. We enjoyed the codfish, scallops, pork chop, Brussels sprout chips, deciles eggs, French fries and so much more.
- Max WennekerJunho 28, 2017Bar Steak had great fries, steak also was well prepared although lacking a bit of flavor. Great brussels, crispy pork belly, cocktails. Would absolutely return.

- Outstanding cocktails. Great brunch. Go for a michelada which is a great drink to start the day. Consider yourself lucky to be sitting in Carl's section.
- Ting SDezembro 4, 2015Enjoyed very much with the deviled egg and pan-seared red snapper, the fish is so tender and serves with black & white risotto, can't miss this!
- H HJaneiro 2, 2015The avocado toast has the best hot chili sauce I've ever had. (PSA: You can order one pancake and it's the perfect portion for a lighter, cheaper meal.)

- Benni PrinzJaneiro 4, 2016Went for brunch and the deviled eggs were the best. Also had the baked eggs (with spinach and Serrano ham) which were good as well.
- Juan DiezJunho 11, 2013De los mejores lugares para comer en San Francisco. Los Devil Eggs son una locura y si eres fanático de las hamburguesas, no te puedes ir sin probar la de acá. Para terminar crème brûlée de chocolate.
- Silvia AkiAbril 21, 2017I love the food, the place, the decor, the service, everything. For me was one the best places I've been to in San Francisco.
- Tyler GalpinFevereiro 5, 2017Get the pork belly. It's seriously one of the best I've ever had. Skip the Wagyu.
- The hangar one Mandarin cocktail is good! Also the fried pork bellies are delicious but the raw halibut is a must try. A little salty, a little spicy and great cuts of fish

- J.R. ReedFevereiro 14, 2020Top notch trout and Brussels chips — burger supposed to be solid, too. Pass on the bucatini. Sure the drinks are good.
- I really like their cast iron baked egg and polenta dish. They accommodate baked egg with no cheese or eggs fully cooked, too. Service is sometimes slow and Bloody Marys aren't very good.
- Linda DunlapAbril 15, 2012Polenta cakes with poached eggs are awesome (brunch). Bloody Mary's are great and made with a secret ingredient (beef stock) and fresh horseradish.
- Christy KamilariJulho 7, 2016One of my favorites in SF...bloody mary is a must while waiting, just try anything, they are all good...
- tricia wangJunho 10, 2017A very expensive devil egg comes in at $3 for HALF an egg - but it's worth it! Chews slowly and closes eyes
- Paula CamposSetembro 30, 2012Devil eggs are amazing as an appetizer. Do make reservations. In love with this resto. A+ drinks . And haven't evenhad the main course yet.
