Anthony AustinMaio 11, 2012Get to the airport two hours before your flight, if you dont check in on time, your suitcase will not make it on the same plane.
Oh man, this ugly airport really is as bad as they say. I'll take JFK any day of the week, even having to pay for AirTrain.
At security checkpoints, be either one of the first persons, or the last. They never check them.
Miss your flight? KAYAK on your phone can get you booked on the next flight in minutes.
The Southwest terminal here is depressing & unacceptable. There's no reason an airport in one of the world's major cities should be this janky. Tip - buy food beforehand because there's not much here.
Don't lip off to the security guards otherwise you'll get the back scatter!!- There's an Artichoke pizza in the food court in Delta terminal C... The more you know.

Sarah ProperFevereiro 23, 2013Either eat before you go through security or if you are laying over here, eat before or bring food! Food here is eh and really expensive. I'm getting a 9$ soggy sandwich. Blech.
NYAS Bus downstairs is $12 to Grand Central or Penn Station, $21 round trip. Faster than the M60 bus, cheaper than a taxi.

More convenient & quicker than both EWR & JFK. Nevertheless, Trump called this airport "third world."

United terminal is in dire need of carpet and upgrades. I suggest Jet Blue or Delta

They've replaced all the seats in concourse C with iPads.

jason pMarço 1, 2015No one looks forward to a trip to an airport, in particular the United terminal at la Guardia.
Tale off your shoes, or at least unlace them, right after the first TSA ID check. It helps speed up the process.

US Airways terminal - Ladies room near Gate 4. Don't use it...you can see all the ladies squatting and peeing courtesy of the glass ceiling panels. Design fail.
