Go see the exhibition of lacquer objects made in 15th-century Japan for export to the European market. They're incredibly detailed and beautiful. Admission is free!

Best view of LA, sans the layer of smog that covers most of it up. Bring a bottle of wine and chill on the lawn until the guards throw you out.
