My home airport: huge, long walks, unhelpful counter staffs, plenty of in-needed stores, and just a commodity one uses out of necessity.

Go for the German Wines available at the Duty Free shop. Great selection and best cost/benefit deal.
Absolutely the worst airport I have been to in Europe. Due to inefficient passport control and security checkpoint I missed my connection flight which had two hours between. Avoid this airport.

When flying internationally - be prepared to be seated in a closed-off gate with no chance to get water or use restrooms. Do not to enter well in advance as you won't be able to leave it.

Чисто, быстрый переход в другой терминал, всё четко и понятно! Больше НЕТ бесплатного кофе и чая.
No need to rush to your luggage - it took 45 minutes to arrive! At least the sign did keep you posted. You can borrow a baby stroller if you need one while waiting.

Save the 3€ for the visitors terrace, you get more or less the same view from McDonalds for free!

Rob HavasyJulho 10, 2015If exiting EU on Lufthansa allow 30 min to clear passport control, unless you have elite status. Shorter elite line is on right entering terminal Z. And terminal Z is next to A so walk is short.
Get near your gate in time. Do not underestimate the distances. Free wifi throughout most of the airport!
