Scott JacobsonAgosto 18, 2014Colonie was disappointing. The waitress was overly pushy. The pork chop was delicious, but was extremely fatty. The extreme darkness of the restaurant made it hard to eat since I couldn't see my food.
They have a really good sense of flavor combinations.
A Glass of Lambrusco, The Black Risotto, The Steak and The Fois Gras Doughnuts. Done and done.

Fried Brussels sprouts with bacon and cranberries. Yum!!

Follow your evening of drinks with a coffee. Not sure where it's from but the French presse is a nice touch.
Ricotta gnudi and Brussels sprouts were both excellent
The cheeseburger is ridic. Best I've had in years.
Space is beautiful. Service spacey. Rabbit rilette and kale salad tasty. Overall good but not great.
Great food but it seems like the entire staff hates one another.

Duck hash is excellent for brunch and killer 80s jams on the speakers.
Their doughnuts with the salted caramel custard? Yes god.
