Nice hotel w/views of the Charles river. Connects directly to the prudential mall (PRU) which connects to Hynes convention center - very convenient. a bit pricey and slow elevators but good overall
"Good for Work/Study" - 5 Stars, "Food & Service" - 3 Stars. The Connection Room is spacious lobby with Free WIFI and plenty of electric plugs available. There is a Starbucks right next to this lobby.
Park in the Copley Place garage. Direct entrance to the mall and hotel. Easy access to and from the Pike. Note: the Marriott has high tech elevators. You have to choose your floor before getting on.
Really nice hotel, and comes with the amenities you'd expect for a hotel this size. I find Marriott personal to be a little less personable than some other brands. Lounge is pretty good, not open 24/7
This is a prime location for many reasons. Copley, Northeastern Univ., MFA, Kenmore, all easy access by walking or the T. Their own parkinggarage is now self park with in and out privileges.
Comfy, but unexpectedly not-so-large riverview rooms. The HVAC sounds a bit like an airplane taking off, so that might disturb some. Conveniently connected to shopping malls
Look for the fire exits on your floor. Someone pulled the fire alarm at 4am while we were here and trying to find the stairs at that time of night while you're hungover is not fun.
They're working on the slow lifts! Have to pay for wifi but we stayed for 7 nights and they waived the fee. Champions is also good to eat at. This hotel also connects to the Copley Plaza shops.
I feel they didn’t acknowledge my Bonvoy status upon check in and I didn’t get the free bottled water I normally get, despite handing my Bonvoy card over with credit card.
The in-hotel restaurant choices are pretty limited...a sports bar with pub food or a lounge thing with mostly appetizers. Plan on venturing into Copley Place to get a meal.
The Boston Marriott Copley has great eventstaff and accommodating space. We're hosting the 2012 Men's Event and Women's Dinner party at the Marriott again after many happy years.
If planning an event, the Conventionstaff is wonderful and very accommodating. Also, for your Event Technology needs, PSAV is in-house and is the best at what they do!
Boston Marriott Copley: Easy Check-in. Easy Check-out. Awesome beds that you sink into and so many pillows you dont know what to do with. Huge, gigantic banquet halls. Downside, any noise past 10 on a
Pros: great location and good gym. Cons: no free wifi and less "luxury" then, say the Intercontinental. But nice beds, location, and gym trump. I'd recommend.
Nice rooms (pillow top & awesome pillows) great checkin but the rest of the staff that handled luggage and especially the people that brought us a crib were sub par. Priceline made it a good deal! :)
Got stuck in the elevator for an hour and a half. Terrible experience in brand new state of the artelevators. Manager gave me 40,000 points. There really didn't seem to be any urgency though.
Elevators are extremely slow! Keep in mind if you're here for a conference or need one timely that it can take 10+ minutes for one to arrive going your direction.
Located in Back Bay, Boston Marriott Copley Place offers contemporary accommodations, an indoor pool, fitness center, business center and 70,000 square feet of versatile event space for meetings, weddings and social affairs.
