Alexis van DamSetembro 14, 2014Must visit when in Antwerp. Be sure to check out the tigers, apes, butterflies. The zoo is beautifully situated in the heart of Antwerp. The historic zoo has nice Art Deco buildings.

They currently (Summer 2014) have an offer you can't refuse 😊- Best zoo in Belgium! The entrance and restaurant have been recently renovated. Take a look at the big aquarium: in the morning you can see the sun come up here.

See kamAbril 30, 2017It's the 1st big zoo I have visited and I was amazed! I don't like in prison animals and some of them looked miserable and it was very sad...but I had the chance to see animals I could not imagined.

in 2016 there will be a lot of construction work going on. This might not be the moment to visit if you’re an occasional visitor.
