OMG the French toast. I think it's covered in cornflakes, deep-fried, stuffed w/cream cheese, and strawberries. my other fave is the eggs Mexican style--breakfast potatoes are AWESOME.
(The one in Brooklyn!) This is THE quintessential diner experience. Order the lemon-ricotta pancakes, a cherry lime rickey and maybe an egg cream.

After 3pm, the (daily) baked goods are half-priced -- and the banana-chocolate muffin is ridiculously good. Also, the music curation in this space is impeccable, and never too loud. A true gem.
Pick your liquor, then ask the bartenders to make a cocktail with it, you'll be blown away. They know their shit

An Aussie alcove in the heart of Prospect Heights. Great espresso and sandwiches makes me feel closer to Sydney.
Staff Pick! Richard (Membership): Simple freshly prepared food. The scallops are particularly good, and nice brunch on weekends.
Staff Pick! Stephanie (Education): Darkish dive bar with a good selection of beers on tap. They also have an outdoor patio area in the back for when the sun is shining.
By far the best restaurant of all time. Great prices, great food, and lots of fresh, healthy options. Plus I like the no-frills vibe (and the backyard garden is adorable!)
