DaniellaMaio 26, 2011Waiting for your turn for an open is no fun but once you enter this small airport it's super easy and not congested!
There are very large "secret" bathrooms on the second floor before you go through security. The 1st floor bathrooms are nasty.

Eric StegemannMaio 26, 2011May be the most annoying announcement system in any airport. Gate agents just hit a button on phone every time to make an announcement. Bring ear plugs.
Rental car drivers: there are no gas stations near the airport. Make sure you fill up before you get too close!
Save time at security by leaving your belt on. Mine never sets off the metal detector and they never ask me to take it off.

Not many food options in the terminal. Arrive a little early if you want to enjoy some Dunkin' Donuts before going through security.

Quite possibly the worst airport in the US. Horribly congested waiting area for the passengers, completely non airline employed outsourced ground crews, and run down tiny facilities.
Get drinks before security, no bar on the other side
Coffee shop upstairs is cash only. not bad if you're craving some cheap coffee before your flight.

Easy airport to fly out of -- but the security & baggage check lines are very long in the morning.

They don't like using the kiosks at this airport...so give yourself some time to check in

Security screening is a nightmare here. Leave tons of time to get through!
Kevin SambdmanSetembro 9, 2011Beware flights boarding from gate B, the sign above the door doesn't work properly. Monitor above the seating area never showed my flight boarding! Calls for boarding were unintelligible. Bad UA!
Lisa RaeJulho 28, 2012Don't think cause this is a small airport you'll breeze through. It was a "cluster" today. 1 security line in entire airport for all airlines.- Park at La Quinta Armonk for $15 a day instead. Or Purchase College has a parking gig too.
Don't get the breakfast sandwiches near the gates...eat ahead of time or stick to a candy bar...
Katie MayerJaneiro 1, 2013They didn't come get my parents in wheel chairs until general boarding was called. They didn't even have another person to wheel they to the gate. I had to push my dad and manage an infant.
I really don't know what these other people are talking about. This is the worst designed and run airport I have been to in a long time. The director of this place should find another job!
Such a joy to travel out of here, next stop Beautiful Detroit!!!
This airport is so easy. Definitely try to get a flight out of here instead of LGA/JFK/BDL. Drop off to the gate in less than five minutes.
