If you are going down to pier C for your flight make your cell phone calls before you go... Cell signal (with Rogers anyway) is not very good!

Crazy long waiting at arrivals, this is the biggest problem at Vancouver airport. Waited over 1.5 hours to get pass it and found no suitcases .
Several airlines can send an e-boarding pass to your smartphone. Paper-free and you don't have to worry about losing it!
Nice airport. Lots to explore while waiting to board.
SukiOutubro 6, 2013Be prepared to get questioned after almost 20hrs flight.. The customs is so strict and scary here, threatening to send people back to their country if you are not answering their questions clearly.

Good tip, NEXUS pass can safe you loads of time at security but it closes at 4:30pm.

Restaurants and lounges closed? Buy booze at the duty free to mix your own drinks. Boooze.
Watch the exits from Canada Customs if u are connecting. Leave the wrong door (AC or WJ) and you're stuck outside security again!
