Cheapest non-beer beverages are near the front gate: $1 bottled water/soda at the Women's Museum and $1 water at DAR House. Take a look around while you're there!
It’s a must see for Texans and for all Americans. Entry prices are good. Food prices are a mixed bag. Food is mostly solid. Entertainment is everywhere. You’ll have fun for sure. It’s big.
Try to find the fried guacamole...only 1 booth has it, but it is the best fried fair food I've ever had. The fried beer was revolting, I wanted to spit it up on the carny that sold it to me
Visit the Museum of Nature & Science while you're at the StateFair. Science building admission is FREE and nature building admission is just $1 w/ StateFair admission. Lots to explore!
If you're in Dallas from late September to mid-October, head to the StateFair for food, concerts, animal rides, flower shows and a 200-foot-tall ferris wheel.
Everything is BIGGER in Texas and that goes for Blue Thunder as well. Come see the team on display October 1st-10th in the Ford Ride & Drive Area just outside FairPark.
You can buy tickets & view a map of the Fair online. You're in a WiMAX hotspot, so wash your hands from the fried food & check it out: http://www.bigtex.com/sft/ Leia mais
fried guacamole is the shiznit. kinda hard to find. the only stand that sells it is in a weird corner by itself right beside the bungee thing in the thrillway.
