This place is famous for two things.. It's second to none balcony, revealing the amazing view oh the old city of Jerusalem and its homemadeapple strudel. I personally like the view better :)
So interesting and multiple place in the center of holy Jerusalem-city. It combines manifold spheres like a cozycafe, a hostel, an area for observation the breathtaking view on the city!
Oasis in the noisy and busy old city. The roof provides nice, photogenic view of the city. Try to be there when the Imams of the mosques lead the congregation in prayer. Unique experience!
Oase zum Entspannen mit Apfelstrudel oder Wiener Schnitzel mitten in der Jerusalemer Altstadt. Ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, einfach mal klingeln :)
just ring the bell and get the best sight over Jerusalem on the rooftop! it's amacing. and don't forget to drink a cup of "kleiner Brauner" afterwards in the "Kaffeehaus"
Consiglio lo strudel e la bistecca impanata anche se la mia è arrivata un po' fredda, per gli amanti del gusto austriaco consiglio il sidro di melecaldo come panacea per tutti i mali..
Wow expect to pay 17 shekels for a coffee. Coffee is normally 4 shekels. We spent 170 shekels on 4 drinks and a couple of snacks and the service was not that good, they forgot part of the order.
The roof terrace has amazing views of the Old City but the cafe is nothing special. Poor service and expensive. Disappointing apple strudel was heated in microwave.
The food is mediocre, and the glorified apfelstrudel is actually not so good and completely overpriced. It is very nice, however, to sit in the garden and the view from the rooftop is stunning & free!
Indeed, great view from the rooftop. It's a MUST.The apple strudel, though, was not that good, yet sitting in the lovely garden on a coffee, has not much choice of side dishes to go with.
