This park is beautiful and not your typical park. Make an effort to stay until it gets truly dark. You'll see the stars like you've never seen them before. It's absolutely stunning. Dress warmly!
Hike the Hidden Valley trail to navigate in and out of boulders and find that elusive shade. The Keys Viewtrail may be the shortest, but it provides an expansive view of the San Andreas fault. Leia mais

A SoCal gem with tons of boulder formations, Joshua trees, arch/skull rocks and cholla cactus. The weather is insane; hot during the day and cold at night but that night sky is killer

Amazing place to visit. Tons of hiking and camping. Surprisingly, many birds amongst the park as well. Many photos taken. Guide was Walker Wadkins, very knowledgeable.
Go to "hidden valley" exhibit. If you're nimble and adventurous you can find a way to the very top and all the way through the rock pile... Or should I say mountain. Beautiful.

One of my favorite national parks. I like to take landscape pictures, and the park offers really good settings for it, especially during the sunset. Good place to go stargazing.
If coming from AZ, take CA-62 to park. Scenic and nothing for miles except awesome scenery. The desert night sky is also an unbelievable treat, for those of us used to city light pollution.
Parc moins fréquenté mais sensationnel. C'est désertique mais très jolies avec les roches et les arbres. Il vaut le détour. Attention rien à manger à l'intérieur.
If you're going to visit, the Joshua Tree is way in the middle of the park. Other things you have to hike to see. Be prepared with water & hiking shoes.
Spent the weekend here camping. Such a awesome beautiful place. Checkout Jumbo Rocks Campground. First come first serve. Unwind, do some shrooms and get lost in a world of nature.
