I used to think that the panini at Renzo were ok. They are… ‘ok’, but the panini here at Basilico are the very best I have eaten ever. Only con is that it is in a remote corner of Amsterdam.

A hidden local fav so try to reserve a table, the caprese salad was a tad salty but good nonetheless, and you can order the different types of ravioli, the star was the lasagna which was delicious.

In het voormalige woonhuis van Wim Sonneveld bevindt zich dit eetcafé, midden in de Jordaan. Café Sonneveld was voorheen Eetcafé Jur.
Zeker met jonge kinderen (kleurplaat; potlood met scherpe punten) een gezellig eetcafe om snel te eten. Ook tafeltjes buiten in de zon met zicht op Westerkerk. Bediening was in juni 2010 wat traag.

I was completely overwhelmed by the deliciousness of the chocolate sorbet. Seriously it is dark and smooth and perfect for that sweet tooth. Add a ball of lemon sorbet to balance things out!
