Stay on the 18th floor if possible - there is usually an elevator waiting which saves a lot of time.

Yes the rooms are small. Cabs are hard to get. Good location though and some nostalgia.

This is one of those "whateva', whenever-we-feel-like-it" W's, the worst kind. They refused to give my mom a card to get upstairs. Grrr

This hotel kinda sucks. Rooms are dark and tiny. Elevators barely or dont work and the staff is downright rude.

Probably the worst W I've stayed at, but the brand has a high bar. The price is very reasonable for NYC, so you get what you pay for.

Seems to be going downhill. Not as great as it once was. Front desk staff are not real problem solvers.
