Links to Margaret Island. Features numerous stone statues. Opened in 1876 but destroyed during WW2. It was rebuilt but only in 2014 was it restored to the ornamental charm of the pre-war bridge.

A historic interior with paintings, chandeliers, and wooden furniture-masterpieces. Centrál is one of the best in the business, and has a tasty selection of cakes, pastries, and Hungarian cuisine.
Food is good. Portions are monstrous, actually too large. People actually photograph their food before they eat it to show the evidence. Almost unbelievable...hehe...and they don't do doggie-bags!
Short on cash? Take the #16 bus instead. It will take you to the castle. You can see the bus stop from the line for the funicular. Look to your right while standing in line! It's across the street!

Best to visit this incredible church on the same walk as visiting the Buda Castle! Not too far away,and really an amazing half day trip! We suggest walking from the Danube for both sites and exercise!
