To get to the red line from DCA metro stop, take yellow line towards georgia/mt vernon and get off at gallery place then switch to red. happy metro riding!

Daniel SanchezDezembro 28, 2010If you are heading to downtown DC make sure you know what metro line gets you closer. Changing trains with luggage can be a hassle. Metro stations and cars are not luggage friendly.
Try to grab a window seat flying in and out. Great views of DC, northern VA/Alexandria.

Bob NiemicSetembro 26, 2013Don't call it Reagan. To Washingtonians, it always was Washington National or simply National. Why did Congress attempt to name the airport "Reagan" when it was already named for President Washington.
This airport is easily accessible by metro. If you're flying domestic it's worth considering.
This is the best city airport to fly in and out esp compared to Dulles or BWI. Security lines are minimal.
Traveling American during peak times? South Security may be more convenient.

USAIR or Regan airport just sent us through terminal C then through security only to have us go outside and get in a bus and go back to terminal B! What a bunch of idiots! If your gate 23-27 ur next

It's not rocket science. Don't try to take all your personal possessions through security. Check the bag and make it easier on everyone.

This is a great place to get on airplanes that take you away from Washington DC.

Unless you're a preferred flier don't think being a minimalist will get you through the security line any quicker.
Very pretty airport in the morning, with the sun coming in. (At least Terminal C is...)
