This has been my favorite café in Reykjavík for at least two decades. I love many others but none can replace my beloved. Classy and elegant without losing the homey feel to it.
This is the café I cheat on Café Paris with. Torn between classy and rugged, elegant and rough neck, sometimes I just don't know what to do. Hressó has been my home away from home for over 20 years.
This one is classic and perfect for the quicky; take your coffee to go if you're in a hurry! Or sit down, relax and read tons of brand new books in the company of local students and business people.
Café Babalú is my first pick when I'm looking for a cozy place where I can feel right at home and I love going there for chill moments.
This place is always very lively, people coming and going, kids playing (and adults) and the staff always so happy to serve you! Love it :-)
