Very odd menu describes the dishes' history, but few details about what's in them. Good food, though. The pancakes and fried chicken is an amazing combo.

Get the ham and cheese sandwich. Queens and paupers is probably the only decent place around, despite the rapid industrialization and gentrification this neighborhood has gone through recently.

The place has gone from ok to plain bad in 2 years. Long wait, clumsy waitress, terrible food. "Pancakes with berries" are with a dozen dried cranberries, frittata is overfried. Totally not worth it.
