Bit of a strange menu but their loaded fries are great. They have a very good build your own Bloody Mary station during brunch too.
The "first pizza of New York" we had a large margarita pie w meatballs and it was great. The marinara sauce was delicious, as was the mozzarella and meatballs were awesome. Much better than Grimaldis.
Went here for restaurant week. The sirloin cuts are tasty, as is the chicken, but coming from Ireland I wasn't overly impressed with the lamb. Service is excellent and salad bar extensive. I liked it.
Second location for the best burger joint in the city and unbelievably enough it's not that busy. Simple menu. Simple idea. Burgers, done well.
Lots of food stands. Reminds me of Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia only with Italian food, not cheesesteaks. Check out Da Nerbone for a roast beef panino.
There are some places you go where as soon as you set foot in the door you know you like them, caffe sant'ambrogio was one of these. It's small, dark and kind of alternative. Pay the extra for buffet
Great place. Bruschetta was fantastic with fresh zesty tomatoes and the truffle rigatoni and the paccheri al ragu both fantastic. A definite recommendation! Rigatoni probably the best thing we ate.
The reviews are appropriate! This place is awesome for lunch. Sandwiches as big as your face and as tasty as your face too. I had the spicy salami and gave the guy artistic license to complete it. Yum
Nice hotel. Rooms are a fine size and have everything you need (except an iron). Iron available in the onsite laundry. Very friendly staff. €12 taxi to city, €15-€17 at night.
Just stopped in for a glass of wine and for my fiancée to use the facilities. Cute place with indoor/outdoor seating and tables. Didn't try the food but the staff were very friendly.

The meatballs, THE MEATBALLS!! Best thing I ate in Florence. Pizzas (rustica and bomba) were good and the cannolo for dessert delicious also. Ate here twice during our 4 day stay.
