This location has been open since 1986, the sixth Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria to open, and the first within the Chicago city limits. The Buttercrust is so good it’s trademarked.

Surrounding the Museum of Antioquia, this park displays 23 sculptures by hometown artist Fernando Botero. This area is known as the “Old Quarter.”
Named after the traditional Paisa dish, a soup made from slow-cooked diced tripe (cow stomach) with cilantro and vegetables. It tastes great!
It’s so easy and cheap to get up here by metro cable. Don’t even think about walking, as it’s a tremendous climb and unsafe.
A brick staircase of 659 steps rises up through a broad fissure in the side of the rock. Steps can be steep at some points, but so worth it for the beautiful view at the top!
Best arepas! Comfortable seating outside. Don’t even try to move those logs; they’re carefully placed.
I think this is the best vegetarian restaurant in the city. You can order half-and-half pizzas.
