favourite cafe in amsterdam. more residential, but i saw a lot of laptops so maybe the business visitors claimed it. tricky to find but nice view.
great place for good coffee and brekkie nibbles. they have an adorable resident cat patrolling the place.
long beer list, including european but also a lot of american. big space to lounge about with a group.
like beertemple but cramped and more european focused beer list. it is number #1 on tripadvisor, but mention that at the bar and you'll be shot weird looks.
utrecht neighborhood bar. bartender very friendly in explaining the beer options. get some la chouffe (rhymes with ah choo!).
museum with a great set of bizarre musical instrument auto-play contraptions... many things seen that i didn't realise existed. perfect for music and engineering geeks.
uge bustling space which gets packed, but in a nice way assuming you're not in a rush. if you like your frites in a cone, this would a place to do it.
