Start with Brussel sprouts + pork rinds + of course the pork buns. Skip the momofuku ramen bc if you're looking for that deep pork bone broth, you'll be disappointed. Get the Kimchi stew if you can.
Finally tried David Chang’s pork ramen. It was fantastic. The broth was smoky which is unlike any ramen I had before. The pork in the pork bun was cooked perfectly. The menu is eclectic but great.
We went for beef noodle soup and the spicy cashew noodles. Both were fantastic. We also loved the egg and pepper app. Pork bun was good but glad we steered for the non-hyped items on the menu.
Good food and a nice place to get brunch on the weekends. There a bit odd though when their dishes run out the heat they could do is offer decent subz but... French cultured butter is the real deal
Menu changed in November, still pretty good. The flat iron steak is superb. For dessert I highly recommend the Crack Pie (from Milk) and a double-espresso on ice.
CCDC is a combination of menu items from the mediocre Momofuku restaurants in NY (except Momofuku Ko, let's be clear). The chilled spicy noodles are a good choice, though the portions are small.
The bings are a no brainer. If you love garlic, the garlic shrimp noodles were fantastic! On a scale of 1 to vampires will be running away, it’s easily a 9.
The one dish that everyone was excited about was Chang's iconic bowl of ramen that arguably started the whole ramen revolution. If you’re still hungry after, grab some dessert from Milk Bar next door. Leia mais
Pork buns were good. But Momofuku ramen was, and I use this word after lots of thought, *terrible*. It tasted burnt, like burned meat! NYC one was amazing, so yea, I was greatly disappointed :(
The pork bun was AMAZING. The Juniper cocktail was great. Unfortunately the Momofuku Ramen just didn't do it for me, nor did the cauliflower. May return for the bar, but not likely the noodle dishes.
Arrived for dessert. Was told we couldn't just have dessert, but could do a drink and dessert. Sat down for a drink and dessert. Was told we had to go to bar to have drink + dessert. Left.
We tried the pork ramen with a side of spicy sauce. It was good, but nothing to write home about. Also, the shiitake buns appetizer and panna cotta dessert - not worth the overkill on the price hike.
