For that mile high "piled high" authentic NYC corned-beef/pastrami sandwich. Long lines (out the door), so watch which day/time you go on.
The ribeye was good....but not $49 worth of good. The sauteed mushrooms were well seasoned, as one would have hoped the steak would've been. Thank God I had a Groupon.
When you can't get to Brandywine Used Parts all the way out in Upper Marlboro. More convenient from DC and Northern Virginia.
Shampooed the carpet in my client's office. One week later she bought a new carpet, lol. Talk about a lotta work for nuttin'.... Jeez.
The crab mac&cheese was nicely executed. Lotsa LUMP crap meat with robust cheeses. The ribs and fresh cut fries. Magnificent.
Tried the red velvet today. Very nice. Will try other flavors on the next visit.
My new fave cupcake spot. The CAKE is rich and bursting with flavor AND THEN topped with great frosting.....unlike most which are average tasting (at best) with good frosting.
These cupcakes are Ahh-maa-zing!!! The cake itself is moist and bursting with flavor. The frosting (which is great too) kinda becomes an afterthought almost. Got a half dozen sampler box.
Dragon Slayer Sake!! Woot!! A whole bottle for what most places charge for a shot. You'll get 6-8 shots out of your bottle. Try not to get wasted:)
The fried shrimp heads were delish. Guy Fieri shouted them out on Triple D and had to try them. Sushi is very nicely done and very fresh. Tried the B-more location a few years back and now this one.
That naan wrap was delicious! Went there quite by accident cuz the place next door was closed for "vacation." Had a great lunch and will probably get a new client cuz me and the owner chatted.
(Ironically, lol) I'm really not a Soul Food fan, but CK's stuff is pretty good. The cornbread....the ribs...the cabbage....the fried fish. Not bad.
Had the pork gyro today on the recommendation of the dude behind the counter. It was okay. Not nearly as good as the "Chicago style" (which I also got). Both to go. I'm sticking with the Chicago.
Best brunch in the city (along with The Colonnade) . $75/head.....impeccable service!

Burgers are good. Fries are hand-cut it appears. Buffalo wings are good. Self-serve ordering when you first enter sucks. Hire some servers!
The "Lamb in Two Seasons" was nicely prepared. The meat was tender and well seasoned in some type of coconut milk infused brown sauce. Glad I selected it over my usual Drunken Noodle..

This spot rocketed to the top of my list....quickly. The portion sizes are MUCH larger than the typical Thai resto.without skimping on flavor and/or quality. Spartan decor, but the food is excellent.
Had lunch here a while back. The Bar Code burger was good as I recall. Fries too. Nice ambiance here. Kinda Sobe-ish.
