If flying with American, I recommend enrolling in the AAdvantage program. Meisha-annJaneiro 29, 2014Try the seafood Cobb salad from Gladstone's in Terminal 3. It's either that or Burger King or Starbucks. Even though there is a sign that says Food Court, those three restaurants are it.
Tom Bradley newly renovated and we're loving it. Better restaurants and shops. Neat. Stylish. Staff are all helpful. Easy check in. Comfortable lounges.

Jaroslav ČechNovembro 25, 2013Looking for mailbox? Take free shuttle from Avis. Across from the rental is USPS open even on Sunday until 11pm. The shuttle will take you back as well. Better than walking for two hours :)
When you land at LAX late at night, coordinate being picked up at the departures/upper level as it's less crowded than the arrivals/lower level.

Take a flyaway bus to get here, driving/parking on your own is a horror. Come ready to move fast

I love LAX - they don't clean it well so when I am here, I know some dirt that touched my father's feet is probably touching mine. It's like a family pilgrimage to come here!

HUGE airport and most crowded, all transport apps, taxis, moved to LAX-IT, throu shuttles, RENTED CARS also you have to use the shuttle to get there.
Seriously, just park your car offsite. It’s less hassle than waiting for a ride share or asking someone to pick you up.
Allow yourself plenty of time due to traffic entering the airport so you are not to miss your flight!

All of the terminals have made big improvements for food/drink options and ambiance. Transportation is still a disaster. LAX is changing for the better but still has long way to go. I've never had too much of a wait for TSA or immigration/customs. The main problem is the traffic getting to it. Avoid T3 and T6.
If you're flying AA (or anyone out of terminal 4), stop by Homeboy Bakery for the best eats- and help a favorite nonprofit in the LA community as an added bonus! It's right after security

If you are on United express take a short cut from the first gate entry in terminal 7 (with pre-tsa it is fastest) and then get ready for a nice brisk walk to terminals at the very end between 81 - 86

Ariel HermanJulho 9, 2017In true LA fashion, the traffic at the airport can be horrendous so budget that into your timing. Also the terminals here aren't connected so make sure you know which terminal your flight leaves from.
Everything is great here just make sure to give yourself about an hour to get through tsa. I love the bars

We were told traffic would be bad, so get there early. We were told TSA lines would be bad, so get there early. All well and good except the ticket counter isn't open.
The United terminal has a lot more pricier eateries that close about 11pm so if you don't want 2 spend a lot, eat before you come, or try out the Food connection spot. Beechers in the international terminal has good bloody Mary’s and breakfast sandwiches, great spot for an early flight!
