My favorite conveyor belt sushi place on Oahu. Period. Fresh fish. Great selection. Nice size portions. But this place is extremely popular, so expect to wait up to 1 hour. You can always do take out!
Worth the wait, but try to come before the dinner crowd or after the lunch crowd. Lots of selection and reasonable prices for the quality.- Archie MarianoAbril 30, 2013Try the "Mix-Don" if your really in the mood for a pile of Poke. Half Ahi and half Hamachi on top of a pile of rice.
@JaymesSongAgosto 27, 2011Haven't been back to Genki since discovering Kurus several years ago. Mix-don, chicken karaage are great. Take out if you can't wait.
Get here early to put ur name on the list.. Not to long of a wait but soooo yummy.. :)
Massiel ColladoAgosto 20, 2015Pretty good, expect to wait we waited about an hour for 2 ppl. It's mostly always packed even in the weekdays.- People start lining up 30 minutes before opening at 11 a.m. You might do the same if you don't want to wait. Sign in on the clipboard! Enjoy.
- Expect to wait up to 45 minutes for a seat here. It's worth it, but if you're in a hurry, get take-out or head around the corner to Tadashi. Even better sushi there but more expensive.

Best thing to do is just take out from Kuru Kuru. Spicy Don + Salmon and Hamachi = Satisfied hunger
Go around 1:45-2:30 pm when they are not as busy
Called in my order, arrived almost 20 minutes later when I got there...no food. Had to wait another 15 min. Blah
