azewdeAgosto 4, 2013Great zoo. Visiting KC from DC area and found KC zoo better than the National Zoo. Lot of animals in a better natural setting which makes it more fun for visitors and better for the animals.
Janet StanbroughJulho 27, 2015The sky safari has been an excellent edition. Even when it is hot it makes seeing the Africa area easy. The tram is free on hot days. And the newer indoor exhibits. Make it more friendly year round.
Rob MonroeSetembro 1, 2012Very nice zoo, and very large. Plan on spending at least 3 hours if you want to see everything. We did it in about 2.5 but we were rushed and it was raining so there were very few people there.
Theresa O'LearyJulho 17, 2018My favorite thing about the KC Zoo is that they have a ski-lift type thing that takes you on a ride above the animal enclosures, so you get a great view.

Kiara WattsFevereiro 25, 2014In really cold weather most animals won't be seen but don't think a trip will be a bust. There's still a lot to explore. Polar Bear Passage, Helzberg Penguin Plaza, and the Discovery Barn for example.

BMI EliteAbril 18, 2011The sea lion and elephant shows are the best. Make sure to pay attention to what days/times the trainers will be there, that way you can see all their tricks!
Great place to get lots of walking in. Go rested. Enjoyed rides; although, a little pricey.

The penguin exhibit is an awesome place. The penguins put on a good show.

Check out the air-conditioned SOAR bird show visiting over the summer. All my kids loved it.
