Usually off airport rental car centers are a nightmare, this one is pretty efficient. Make sure you get the EZ Pass, Boston area is full of tolls.

This is a real jewel. Watch the award winning video in the visitors center and then head down the carriage roads to The Pogue, about a mile and a half, you'll thank me!

Tiny airport but comfortable and a lot less stressful than the larger, busier airports.
The most visited national park in the country, so things can get crazy here in the summer and parking can be tough. Wait for dusk/dawn to do Cades Cove, that's when the wildlife will be most active.
The ride up and views from the tram and summit are great. The tourist trap stuff though at the top, not so much.
