Johnny Wang: Fun place to spend the day with friends, full of restaurants, shops, and various changing exhibits. Try to avoid the weekends because it gets insanely packed. Crowd is mostly younger folks/couples.

Johnny Wang: Massive park with places to shop, eat, sight see, or exercise (there's even a bike path!). The crowd here is a little older, with young-ish couples bringing their kids and/or pets.

Johnny Wang: Skip Shilin, which has become a tourist attraction, with all the negative associations that usually entails. While Ningxia is becoming a bit touristy as well, it still has some of best street food!
