The seats in Theater 1 are strange. One is practically lying down & staring up at the screen. Good for date night, I guess.

IFC has great independent movies and documentaries
tonight only: see FAST, CHEAP & OUT OF CONTROL + special guests paying tribute to the film editor Karen Schmeer. Leia mais- There's a water cooler in the basement with real cups; no need to buy bottled water.
I'm here at least once a year for the short films.
Get a season pass to Stranger Than Fiction - it's the best deal in the city if you're a doocumentary film buff!
Other then the Sunshine and the Paris, are there any other theatres in NYC as nice as this one?- Feb 22: ROCK SCHOOL comes to @STFdocs at IFC Center + Q&A with director Don Argott.
