One of the best restaurants in Munich. Sit downstairs in the "Schwemme" for the real Bavrian HB feeling, or go upstairs to the equally authentic, quieter restaurant. Same kitchen! All food is great

The building itself is beautiful and they have a traditional band which makes for a nice atmosphere. Service isn't great and the food is below average. Also don’t wait to be seated, you seat yourself where ever you want. ask for English menus
