- Great airport even if it's the largest. Plenty of places to eat and shop and just pass time if u happen to get a layover.
- Papi’s Cuban Restaurant on concourse T is one place I always visit! The food is TASTY!!!
- Great airport other than the construction. Walk between concourses is very nice if you have time. Love Delta. Very efficient airport.
- Here for a connecting flight? Get ready for a walk (or a run). These concourses are LONG, so be sure to stretch your calves before your mad dash to the gate.
- Cindy FischerSetembro 17, 2019I’m hoping it’s an off day at ATL because I’ve never seen gate agents and TSA so cranky. Even TSA pre check required shoe removal. Looking at a lot of travelers, I would probably be cranky too 😂
- If you fly Delta and miss your flight, there’s a live Delta Help Desk on your concourse + phones you can pick up that automatically ring direct to a rep who can reschedule you.
- If you have the time, walk instead of taking the tram and check out the exhibits. The Walk Through Atlanta History and the stone sculptures from Zimbabwe were pretty cool.
- Check out One Flew South in Terminal E for the best food and ExpressSpa in Terminal A for great pedicures. Don't be fooled by the Chick-Fil-A in Terminal C... it's a tiny kiosk with only sandwiches :(
- Audrey MurphySetembro 30, 2012When TSA says get here 3-5 hours in advance, you better bet your hiney you need at least 3. It IS the busiest airport in the world. Keep that in mind. But overall, it's fairly organized!
- Greg LynchJaneiro 8, 2015Boardwalk Burgers on Concourse A was excellent. Sit by the window and listen to live music from the piano bar. Very good burger.
- Very nice airport but it is super crowded (fitting since its the busiest one in the world). There is plenty to do here!
- I love the history and art displayed while walking from Terminal to another.
- One of the busiest airports. Really nice terminals just cross your fingers that there are no terminal changes as it can take a while to go between them
- FlightCenter.comJaneiro 4, 2012TSA TIP #3 Remove your laptop(s) and shoes/belts while waiting in line for the x-ray machines and carry them in your hands to be ready for the bins, remember laptops are placed in a bin by itself.
- lara behnertJaneiro 18, 2011Buckhead Books/Intermezzo Cafe in the center of the B gates is a refreshingly non-airporty Vienna style café. Find good food on real plates, tinkling jazz, full cocktail/coffee bars, veggie options.
- Head over to gate C45 for a fresh squeezed juice or a wheat grass shot. I flew through Atlanta just to stop by this place! It's called Fresh healthy café
- P.F. Chang’s in the A Terminal is always great for a layover. Also the Xpress Spa is a treat for a long week of travel!
- Lisa ClarkNovembro 25, 2015For great coffee and baked treats, skip the lines at Starbucks and go to Harvest & Grounds, located next to D9. Very friendly staff, as well.
- wutor ♐Outubro 29, 2021Get here early on Fridays! At least two hours before your flight. You don’t want to have a heart attack going they the longest TSA line in the country 🤣 You’re welcome
- Don’t pay a crazy Uber fee from airport. Take the rental car center tram to Gateway Center. Call your rideshare from the Marriott at a fraction of the cost. https://lyft.com/igi/TYLER279363
- Richard ZuluOutubro 1, 2016Make it a point to listen and tip the guy playing jazz at the food court. Awesome
- Hometown airport. Very efficient and plenty of shopping/food options before or after flight. Recommend TSA pre-check to quickly go through security.
- Xiomara RuizAgosto 7, 2015The custom people is very nice. I really like this airport. They makes you feel good and happy to be in the US
- Eat at One Flew South in Terminal E. Excellent service and even better food! You won’t be sorry.
- Rewan PartiFevereiro 15, 2015Large airport with a separate terminal for baggage. They have free wifi and a huge list of restaurants.
- Sergio INovembro 1, 2014So much to do in this airport... Not s bad place for s long layover. If you are in the Gate B area, try the Gourmet Burgers near gate B28. Awesome!
- Flying with dogs? Park in West Economy lot -- you'll pass a dog park on the way in to South Terminal and there's also a shuttle right there to the new international terminal.
- Joey SpiveyJaneiro 12, 2014Self check-in is a lifesaver. If you're flying international, fill out customs paperwork BEFORE you get to the check-in desk. Saves everyone time, and keeps you from being the victim of others rage.
- Adrien PellerinNovembro 28, 2013When arriving, get in the front car of the "Plane Train". Once you arrive at the Baggage Claim stop, you'll be able to rush to the top of the escalator toward the exit, instead of waiting in line.
- JermellJulho 31, 2016This was an amazing but very very busy airport. Great food selection and random places to keep you busy.
- For it’s size, ATL is pretty well run. If you rented a car, be sure to give yourself extra time to get from the car center to the terminal.
- Rick W.Novembro 29, 2013One of the biggest airports I've been to but everyone is so nice taking care of you. That has been my experience. Can't wait to visit again.
- Jon DobbersteinAbril 28, 2013Sure wish there was a KEBA Spitfire Grill in the ATL airport. If you're headed to Athens be sure to get your Döner Kebap and Belgian style fries!
- Get a Sky Club membership if you travel through this airport with any kind of regularity. You won't regret it.
- Leana MJaneiro 23, 2015Screens above the doors on the train will let you know what restaurants are available in your concourse.
- Best sky clubs. Food outside security is good. International terminal is great for food, space. Terminal A is a bit tight.
- Kurt RobinsonFevereiro 6, 2017Not the best for standby, but if confirmed it's perfect. Tons of lounges to take advantage of as well. Look into purchasing a lounge pass if you don't have access through one of your cards.
- Vivian AtlasJunho 24, 2013Great shopping! If you're headed for the Caribbean, it's not considered a transatlantic flight, so if you're in 1st class and want to use the SkyClub, you're out of luck.
- Maribeth PetersJaneiro 2, 2014Great place to watch football! Texas A&M and Johnny Manziel pulled out a huge win at the Chick-Fil-A Bowl on NYE 2013 at the Georgia Dome! What a game!
- Francisco PerezSetembro 28, 2017I arrived from Europe. Friendly greeting from airport personnel. Helpful people at customs kiosks. Other large American cities should follow the example.
- Eduardo MetingerFevereiro 21, 2015The biggest airport I've been see!!! It's truly enormous but the attendance are very helpful! Be careful not to get lost!!! Hope see you again ATL!
- Chris MeechanAgosto 30This airport is so bad it makes Charles De Gaulle in Paris seem friendly and helpful. Half the concession stands close early and the ones that are open are missing half their menu items
- LesJulho 10, 2013Huge Airport! Liked the train ride ride that takes you from point A to point B..trains arrives every 3 mins. Convenient when you are running late.. like we were!
- FlightCenter.comJaneiro 4, 2012TSA TIP #4 When loading your belongings onto the x-ray belts load them in an order to help expedite at the other end. THINK, (a) suit case first, (b) laptop bags/purse, & (c) your shoe & belts tray.
- Gregg PullanoMarço 18, 2019Busiest Airport in the world and one of the biggest you’ll ever visit, but navigating the humanity is harder than finding your gate.
- This is the home airport; also the busiest airport in the world.
