At first I was not impressed because there was a bit of a bleach smell, but the food was top notch. Worth it. And they have pozole, which is hard to find.
Huge climbing gym. Sadly, auto belays are for speed climbing only, but there’s enough bouldering that even if you’re solo you’ll have fun
Fantastic place for traditional Irish music. Less packed the the other big names, and more of a community vibe... people were just joining the band and singing a ballad. Fantastic.

Really good access to all sorts of nooks and hidden rooms in this ancient place. And the yew tree is impressive. FYI: an abbey can be either a friary or a nunnery. I thought they were different ;)
They have wolfhounds and tea and falcons and baby owls... stop in and say hi. Scones are delicious.
Quite a friendly place, with live music and friendly atmosphere and staff. They had power issues since they added on a snaking area, so as the band was singing “dancing in the dark” the lights died :)
Very tasty, and rather fast service. Good variety and execution by the chefs. Good selection of local beers.
