Ana Loftus: Make sure to plan your visit since all temples inside close their doors at 5 pm. However, you can walk around til 8 pm. There are beautiful spots to watch the sunset. Don’t buy the map! Not worth it.

Niclas Skold: One of the must see places in Beijing. Most beautiful in late afternoon with the warm sunset light. Can be a bit crowded but still worth a visit.

Simon Opsomer: After your visit to the Forbidden City, exit at the north gate and visit JingShan Park just across the street. The views on top of the hill are fantastic and the entrance fee is only 2 RMB.

Laarni Moreno: They take reservations at 630 and 830 pm, which gets you prime seating around the koi pond, with a great view of the "roasting Center". You can go in, feel the heat, and take awesome pictures!
Defeng Bob NIU: Overall, it's a good restaurant. Atmospheric environment and elegant decoration. Cantonese cuisine is the main dish with good quality. Roast duck is perfect especially.

joel danielson: An obvious stop for anyone interested in Beijing's art scene. 751 D-Park behind (and accessible via) 798 features very bauhaus factory design, and is home to the INTRO electronic festival each May.
Dave Mc: The lake is pretty fun, but also crowded with pretty aggressive pedicab drivers that hunt you incessantly. Probably better at night with all the bars lining the lake. 🍻

Adrian Alva: Huge and welcoming station. 3 ticket offices with English speaking crew. No free wifi and be sure to run to the oficial taxi line that cues get looong. Forget about subway, taxis are cheap as heck.

Katy: Thats one of my fav temples in Beijing. If you can come here during the week. And you cant bring your own incense anymore. But you will get it for free. (After you pay 25RMB for entrance)
