Elliott Brown: On Bank Holiday's main car park gets full. So park your car in the town centre and get a free shuttle bus to the castle! The Castle itself is nice, ruined after Civil War. Elizabethan garden was ok

Elliott Brown: Closed on Monday's, open on other days. Believe you have to pay if you want to enter mill, but grounds, and cafe are free entrance (I think). Recently restored again. On 11A / 11C / 5 bus routes.

Elliott Brown: New station rebuild as of 2023 isn't complete. Platforms curved and really long. Ticket gates in the old 1970s station building. But of a gap to the train when boarding due to the curved platforms.
