I arrived at 2 pm but early check-in was not available. I went again at 3:30 pm, but the room was not ready yet and they told me I should wait forty minutes more.
Paris MartinAgosto 16, 2013They don't lend umbrellas when it's raining. Sad that this common courtesy has been lost. Lack of coffee maker and fridge also disappointing, but the beds are comfortable.

Rooms decent. Terrible internet and of all hilton hotels in NY (and I have been to almost all) the worst service. Everyone here hates their job, possibly life completely. Convenient to grand central.
great hotel, except when renovations are going on, the noise can become annoying.
Reception at this hotel is the worst. Don't be fooled by the modern decor of the lobby, the treatment is more like the ghetto d o u b l e t r e e sign on the side of the building. No executive lounge.

- Adjust the thermostat? What a joke. There is no heat in here... I've been shaking in the sheets at night. What a terrible hotel. Not even a coffee maker for some hot beverages. This place sucks.

ReemNovembro 14, 2014I never hated a hotel like I hated this one ! Today is my last day and they made my stay miserable .. Don't expect any help from the front desk they are super rude and they don't want to work.

I would happily give up the free cookie for a coffee maker in my room, free wifi, and not being charged $4 for holding my bags. There are so many better hotels in the city for the same money. Avoid!
Housekeeping plays "who can yell louder" between the hours of 7am-10:30am.

Also no cookie when I checked in.- If you have Hilton honors, don't book through 3rd party like Priceline or Hotels.com. Hilton will not recognize your stay and give you zero. There are so many better options in this city.
Plan ahead if you plan to take a hot shower. I think the water heater is located in Jersey
