Easy walk to convention center, great restaurants and 6th street. Firm beds (not my preference). Hotel is very clean with pkeasant and courteous staff.Voto a favor Mar 11
LaurenSetembro 28, 2016I was in Austin for a convention at the convention center, and the location couldn't be better. The rooms were clean, and the staff was helpful. There's free wifi, and a Starbucks downstairs.
Starbucks coffee sux. Find a cafe called The Hideout on Congress between 5th and 6th. Good coffee, good free wifi, good atmosphere. Enjoy.

The wifi is reported to be spotty however I have found it to be fine. Service is great. Only bad thing is the lousy food and service at champions so skip it and walk a block to better grub

Get a corner room if you can. Slightly bigger rooms and windows on 2 sides!- Check O. Henry's house just around the corner. Oh, and don't mess with the squirrel on the small tree, he's mean bastard.

Sleep on the bed in the room. It's more comfortable.
