Breakfast, best value in town and will fill you up all day. Thousand hole pancake, fruit, yoghurt, egg, cheese, bread, coffee, fresh orange juice all €9! Evening meals not so great... A bit bland!
One of the best places in Amsterdam for the meat lovers. Take a place at the bar and have a chat with the staff.
Try the smokey sausage beer, you'll not like it but for once you drank something else than Heineken
Cocktails are great, dinner is awesome, but if you're just having a drink make sure (!) you order the Crunchy Chicken. Perfect fingerfood with your drinks.
Perfect cocktailbar in the Amsterdam city center. Make sure you have a reservation, or try your luck at the door. The menu is awesome -just like the hospitality-.
Awesome food. Every day an other take away menu for 9 euro's, or just grab a seat. Hard to pick a dish, it's a huge menu!
Awesome coffee over here, I prefer the filter ones and the rest is awesome too. Always order a croissant. It comes with marmelade, but it doesn't need it since they're like the croissants from France.
Magnificent view in the city centre. Had a great lunch and it's not even expensive at all! Really enjoyed this place.
It's always crowded over here (with good weather). The 2 people burger is enough food for at least 3 people ;).
I love to go here by myself and have the Omelet Confit de Canard. Great atmosphere, lovely place near the Westerpark and dinner is also -very- good.
What's not to like? I'm always having Steak Tartare over here, but every other pick from the menu is a great pick!
Best Ribs in town. Ask for a place at the bar, have a beer, order the ribs and have fun with the -very funny- bartenders.
Photomuseum. Sometimes the expositions are awesome, sometimes they suck, but I always like to be here in the building.
Modern art. Usually with great temporary expositions and the regular art collection is awesome too. Go to the halls where you find the Roy Lichtenstein item and Who's Afraid of Red, Yellow and Blue.
When in Amsterdam, you do need to see what's going on over here. Very crowded in the weekends though.
Enter the gardens for free (toilets for free inside too), but take your time to watch the great pieces of art inside. If you tend to visit more than 3 museums in a year: ask for a 'museumkaart'.
Make a reservation, since it's the best dutch cocktailbar (Esquire) and #26 of the world. Awesome place to have drinks, just pick from the perfect menu what you like most.
The serve a perfect french chicken over here, you do need to order that one. You can try all three different beers, but the regular (Puur) is the best one with your chicken.
Take the free (15 minute) boat trip to NDSM and enjoy! When you arrive, go to IJ kantine, Pllek or Loetje for a drink or some food and then get your ass back to the city centre again ;).
One of the best florists in town. Tell them which flowers you like and they will design a lovely bouquet for you.
