Everything you want in a food court, without all the chain restaurants. Whatever cuisine or treat you desire, you can prob find it here. The lunch crowd can be heavy at times but lines move quick.
Best food court/fresh market in loop, everything from raw food, banh mi sandwiches, artisanal chz, patisseries, kosherdeli, sushi, juice bar, gourmet grilled chz, belgian frites, italian hot choco.
Super cutemarket with tons of stores selling every type of food, juice, snack you could ever want. Great place to grab lunch. Reminds me of Reading Terminal in Philadelphia.
Mexican spot, aloha poke, Pastoral cheese, EG Sushi, Korean, great places for lunch! Love to go in the summer and sit outside! There’s always great additions every year!
Wonderful European style open market for fresh produce, specialty meats and gourmet local artisan cheeses, breads etc. Great selection of wines and spirits too.
There's a variety of high-quality, made-to-order, fresh-food places. But there's only one Fumare Meats. The Montreal-style smoked pastrami is one of the best things I have eaten.
It's easy to get overwhelmed with the crowds and all the options - but everything is really good, so you prolly can't go wrong with any vendor in there.
Great place to stop if you commute into the city. Great alternative to the unhealthy selections located in the terminal. My first stop once off the train. Good place to sit & relax while waiting.
Like Philadelphia's Reading Terminal, Chicago's 15,000 sq. ft. French Market is great for a taste bud tour. Closed Sundays, head here for local cheeses, meats, produce, and, of course, free samples.
Java, pistachio and red velvetMacarons are wonderful. Young man who works here is always helpful and friendly. Older Italian lady always behaves like you are bothering her, kind if grouchy!
RAW has excellent vegan food, Saigon Sisters have excellent sandwiches, and you can miss out on the Belgium fries behind them. Overall I love this place.
Overhyped. Some unique options for a food court (French patisserie, dim sum, Korean, Belgian frites 'n beer) but prices are high, quality is all over the place, and the space is dingy.
Or skip the bubbles and try real-fruit Ka-Ching! juices in raspberry-lime, apple-cherry or strawberry-watermelon ($2.50 each) from the French Market’s Produce Express. Leia mais
Montreal style smoked pastrami sandwich. Oh my goodness. Links: http://mobile.chicago.seriouseats.com/2011/12/a-sandwich-a-day-montreal-style-smoked-meat-fumare-meats.html
The French macarons at the Vanille Patisseriebooth are addictive. They have rotating flavors such as strawberry-lemongrass, green tea, white chocolate-lychee and more,
Hit this Belgian-style fry shack for hand-cut fries w/ 20 different dipping sauces. Or nab Completely Nuts' cinnamon-roasted cashews -- just wary of ravenous strangers trying to grab your nut sack. Leia mais
