Check out The Verulam Arms, by far the best pub in St Albans. I should know I've tried most of them!
A visit to Cadgwith is a must. A wonderful fishing village that makes one appreciate how demanding the life of a fisherman is. Also the best fish and chips I have had for yonks in the Pub.
Great little pub, well worth checking out. The sandwiches are great, well worth the effort.
One of the best gardens in Cornwall, if you get a quiet day the little beech is a great place to waste an hour or two.
By far the best pub in St Albans. My only gripe is although I have nothing against kids (I have my own!) the place can get a bit overrun with toddlers at times. Go in the evening if you can.
