Brunch gets crowded quickly but if you're only 2 you might try a bar seat.
Fennel and cranberry bean stew off the vegetarian menu is really really good!
Serious EatsMaio 7, 2013Southern-inspired and always interesting, Buttermilk Channel is worth checking out. The grilled flatbread and vegetable sides with cheddar waffles are always stand outs.

Forget everything else and get the fried chicken with cheddar waffles. It's ok to get fat here.
If you order anything but the Fried Pork Chop for brunch, you're really missing out (okay, maybe the poached eggs too). Bloody Mary's (even the one with the oyster) are just so-so...
The pecan pie french toast at brunch is one of the best things I have ever tasted.

The best pancakes I've ever had in my entire life.
Try to come around 11 this way you'll get a seat in time for when the bar opens.
