- Raphael JacksonAbril 16, 2014If you stop by check out Jungle World. Pretty good variety as far as species. Overall good bang for your buck.
- Denise CozierSetembro 19, 2013Plan to spend the whole day...lots to see and do. The mongolian train ride is cool. The Ice Age 4D is a snooze-fest, so skip it if pressed for time.
- Ryan EngFevereiro 18, 2012Wednesday is a suggested donation day, but make sure not to visit in the middle of the summer as it is full of day camps and the the heat gets to the animals and you!
- The Corcoran GroupMarço 5, 2013On Wednesdays it's a "Suggested Donation" day which includes everything but a camel ride. So take a personal day and spend it exploring the wild wonders of the Animal Kingdom.
- Justin OrdovezaDezembro 22, 2016Free admission on Wednesday but you still have to pay for parking. In winter some animals are not on display. The giraffe, rhinoceros, sea birds exhibits can be smelly.
- Ray HJunho 1, 2013Try to avoid going on Wednesdays which is the one day admission is on a donation basis. Most individuals don't donate so you get riffraff attending. In addition, school trips happen a lot on that day.
- Dawn MaggioJunho 28, 2013The Dinosaur Safari was more geared for little kids. For older people it'll be kinda boring so unless you have young ones in your group, you may want to skip it and save the time. Love the zoo though!
- imbookinOutubro 13, 2011It's the most famous Zoo in NYC and for a reason… it’s HUGE. AND exciting. Host an event here & sip cocktails below the leaves in the gorilla forest. Or perhaps the Dancing Crane Pavilion is ur scene.
- The animals, the amazing staff and the rides (monorail and big carousel) are the reasons we love the Bronx Zoo.
- Fula OMaio 29, 2022Go early 10am you beat the crowds, and it’s cooler and less and hir the big exhibits eg the Gorillas
- Alex NicholsonJulho 29, 2015Student discounts are not advertised but super worth mentioning! Be prepared to walk A LOT. There is a shuttle but it only does pick ups on one of the four sides of the park...kind of stupid...
- Winter time is zoo time. Many animals love the cold and it's a completely different experience without the crowds.
- Dee DeeAgosto 27, 2015So much to see and do, you definitely need more than one day to see everything
- Boo at the Zoo is so much fun!!! The zoo puts on wonderful activities throughout the year. Membership is absolutely worth it
- Nicole RovigAbril 12, 2018Be sure to watch the sea lions get fed. The Chinchillas are also impressive.
- Robert BobJulho 17, 2015Лучше всего брать Total Experience ticket, даже если не пойдете в кинотеатр, существенно сэкономите на входе в отдельные павильоны и монорельсе)
- One Punch MarioFevereiro 15, 2015#Fun place to visit and spend the day. Either alone or by yourself.
- Alex FishJaneiro 19, 2015Free on Wednesdays! One of the best zoos in the country easily accessible via the 2 or 5
- Dan KaoMarço 22, 2014If you've been to San Diego wild animal park or the San Diego zoo this might be worth skipping. But if not this place is worth going at least once!
- Townley GirlAgosto 3, 2011You must visit the Bronx Zoo and check out all the crazy amazing animals! We especially love the gorillas, who love to interact with all visitors and make us laugh.
- imurbbydollAgosto 8, 2014I LOVE IT HERE! Although Some of animals are not in their respective places, but its really fun for a family bonding
- Steff HindMarço 7, 2015Try going end of fall / beginning of winter it's really quiet and most of the animals are still around.
- Patrick BaskinMaio 1, 2016Great zoo! Take the Wild Asia monorail for the best experience (animal viewing and tour guide narrative)
- Peter VigeantAbril 14, 2013There hasn't been a year in the entire history of the zoo when an animal didn't escape. Most of the time it's a small bird or snake, but in 1982 it was a rare and dangerous panther.
- TimelessnomadJulho 1, 2015Go on Wednesday if you can. Half price and crowds are low before 1pm. Bring your own snacks and a water bottle to save money.
- Sabarish RaghupathyOutubro 3, 2020Amazing zoo! Take the membership with parking and visit multiple times!
- Matt ZupkaAgosto 25, 2014Awesome zoo. Lots of different habitats to explore. Splurge for the full experience ticket.
- Rachel BindelJulho 7, 2017Bronx zoo was amazing! Bring a backpack full of drinks and snacks if you go!
- One nicer days, try to get to the zoo at opening. The crowds are smaller, and the animals are often more active.
- Kimberly AginSetembro 5, 2015An incredible zoo - clean, fabulous petting zoo, and a staff that really seems to care.
- Markus TarjamoJaneiro 18, 2016Probably one of the best zoos I've been to. Definitely check out the gorillas!
- Augustus CollectionFevereiro 23, 2014With more than 5,000 living at the Bronx Zoo, it’s easy to see why a trip to the zoo would make a great day out.
- Go check out the Madagascar exhibit featuring lemurs! Don't forget to post your photos on social media with #NYisWild!
- Dan MilanoSetembro 1, 2015Animals are great, food is poor, security guards will hassle you if you lean back on a bench and look at the clouds.
- Nate FolkertOutubro 15, 2014The Komodo dragon and monitor lizard exhibit is on the west side of the building. The indoor home for the rhinoceros is on the east.
- An XiaoJunho 3, 2010One of the best zoos I've seen - well worth a visit. Visit on a cloudy day, and the animals will be super active. Try to see the polar bear in early afternoon.
- Julie SosciaJaneiro 29, 2019The largest zoo in NYC, best to take the train uptown. On Wednesday, the Zoo offer's donation entry as admission.
- Alyssa PAgosto 10, 2012A lot of walking, uneven pavement and not a lot of animals during the walk. Lots of things that should be repaired and updated and is not. Seemed like their money goes to research more than exhibits.
- Kai BrinkerAbril 9, 2011Be sure to check out the giraffes. They're probably the closest you're allowed to get to a big animal without a fence, moat, or window in the way.
- Great in the winter when you don’t have to contend with all the tourists!
