Get the thing with the quail. The quail were delicious and tender and fell right off the bone.
Most things are pretty solid here. Nothing extraordinary, but you probably won’t go too wrong and the fish and chips are expansive. There were like five fish!
Beautiful forest trails, and a really pretty river area. Just be careful if it rained recently. The trails got a little flooded out in places.
We did not do well in trivia, but it was fun. The announcement system is a little quiet, so sit close to the host if you can.
Always an amazing experience. You don’t even have to do the whole tour, just go chill at the bar. Elta is an amazing bartender.

Everyone wants to do the full English, and that’s totally fair. But also, their scotch eggs are amazing, and I can’t find that anywhere else in Austin. Very authentic, brings back good memories.

They actually provide a live audio description service to make ballet accessible to the visually impaired. I think this is amazing highly highly recommend.

Now this is my vibe. Austinites can compare this to the Roosevelt room. Similar atmosphere, excellent cocktails, very knowledgeable bar staff. 11 out of 10.
Good cocktails it goes without saying. They also are pretty knowledgeable about their Mezcals, and you have to check out the unique glassware. For Christmas they had one that looks like a Santa head.
This reminds me of dish society in all the right ways. The shrimp and grits étouffée were fucking amazing.
During the Christmas lights show this year, there was a turtle sculpture with lights! He was super cute
During the Christmas lights show, this part turned into a totally otherworldly experience. Very cool, though I didn’t see any monkeys because it was nighttime.
Came here for the Christmas lights show. They did a really amazing job with all of the animatronic animals and lights displays. Highly recommend.
The baristas are very attentive. They know my in-laws my name. That could mean that my mother-in-law goes there too much… But it’s cute
This is classed as a miscellaneous store? It’s definitely a park y’all. It even says so in the name. Pretty nice park, All in all, though there tends to be water leaks every now and then
The red coach picks up just out front. I recommend getting there a bit early so you can get your coffee and a ham and Swiss baguette.
Make reservations, seriously. An hour and a half wait at six in the afternoon was pretty intense.
Pretty in the morning, and right by the train station. Worthwhile taking a moment to stand next to it before you head to the castle.
